This afternoon, continue your journey to Fez, stopping at the Roman ruins of Volubilis (roman ruins) a nearby Roman settlement that has slumbered in the Moroccan countryside for over 2,000 years. Dating back to Pre-Roman times Volubilis was a thriving city, complete with a forum, a capitol, basilica, triumphal arch, oil presses and spas. Settled on what was probably a Carthaginian city date from the third century B.C. Volubilis was a central administrative city for this part of Roman Africa

Private full-day sightseeing tour of Fez.

Today, your full-day sightseeing of Fez will include the monuments and historical sites of the ancient medina for a walking tour to the Karaouine Mosque and the university. You will visit the Attarine Medersas constructed in the early 14th century by the Merinides. At the centre of the square stands the Nejjarine fountain, which is completely decorated with tiles. They are considered to be the finest examples of geometric ornamentation in the city. In the back is the Nejjarine Museum, dedicated to the extraordinary woodwork and carpentry of the artisans of Fez. In the afternoon, visit the various markets of the souks and the tanneries with time for shopping. After your visit, return to the hotel.

Departure from the hotel at 8:00am to Merzouga via Ifrane and Azrou and Midelt. En route, stop at the ski town of Ifrane, named “the Switzerland of Morocco”. After enjoying the views of this beautiful city situated in the Atlas Mountains, continue to Azrou. A Berber village in the middle of the famous the

Cedar forest, where you can see the barbary monkeys jumping between the branches of cedar forests. Travel through the Tizi n’ Talghamt Pass to Midelt, renowned for its minerals and fossils. Upon arrival, enjoy a nice lunch at a local restaurant then a panoramic tour of the city before you are transferred to Erfoud. Erfoud is a town in eastern Morocco that is a popular location for filmmakers due to the beautiful views of the Sahara Desert. It is a French-built administrative town built in the thirties. Erfoud is the home to some of the most beautiful scenery in Morocco with ancient Berber fortress set in palm grovesas far as the eye can see. Visit the city of Rissani, with its 18th century Ksar and a virtually impenetrable warren of alleys. Continue to the ruins of the 17th century Ksar Abbar fortress which was used as a place of exile for the wives of dead sultans and unwanted family members.

Drive by 4×4 from Erfoud, 55 km (about 1 hour 15 minutes), on route you will stop at a fossil quarry and visit the lake. If there is water, you have to witness a spectacular cluster of wild birds.

Arrive at the spectacular dunes of Erg Chebbi which were featured in the film Lawrence of Arabia. The dunes are a majestic sight, and you can spend as much time as you like walking among them as you witness the sunset.

Earlier in the morning, walking among the majestic dunes and witness the magnificent sunrise. To see Merzouga, no one ever regretted getting up at 05:00am to witness the unique sunrise. Admire and watch the pink disc of the sun appearing over the gigantic dunes of Merzouga.

After breakfast at the camp, transfer back on 4×4 WD to meet the bus and depart to Erfoud driving through scenic dense palm groves to the inspiring Todra Gorges near Tinerghir. Follow the banks of the river, driving through sheer towering walls of rock.

Continue along the scenic Route of a Thousand Kasbahs and the Dades River Valley to Ouarzazate, the “Pearl of the Sands,” where everything is calm beautiful and fresh – the image of the authentic south of Morocco where time has stood still for centuries. Stop in the quaint village of El Kelaa, known for its rosewater products, before arriving in Ouarzazate for overnight.

Depart Ouarzazate to Marrakech, with a detour to visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which you may recognize as the location of numerous films (Gladiator, the Mummy, Jesus of Nazareth, Babel, et al). One of the largest kasbahs in Morocco this is sure to impress and give you a feeling of how tribes lived and protected themselves in former times.

Then, depart via the Tiz in Tichka Pass of the Atlas Mountains to exotic Marrakech.

In the evening, we suggest a Diffa Fantasia dinner served under caïdal tents while enjoying the performance complete with belly dancers. Bewitched by the songs and dances of folk groups, you’ll eat, listen, and see something truly exceptional: a unique entertainment provided in an arena as large as a football field, a beautiful parade, unforgettable fantasia acrobats, traditional songs, and dances. We see the tombs of the Saadi rulers, outstanding examples of Moorish art. Marrakech prestigious past is evoked as well by the historical monuments, which survive intact in their splendor, with their brilliant mosaics, carved woodwork, and gorgeous marbles. In the afternoon, visit of The legendary Majorelle Gardens. This enchanting place, filled with bougainvillea, coconut, banana, bamboo, and palms, was created in the 1920s by the French painter Jacques Majorelle. At the heart of lush vegetation, he built a large workshop, pergolas and arbors completely covered with a bright blue distracting.

Neglected after the painter’s death in 1962, the property was restored a few years ago by fashion designer Yves Saint-Laurent and used as his residence. At the end of the tour, you will do a tour of the rampart of Marrakech. The ramparts dominate this medieval city with their characteristic red stone walls and superb nine gates dating back to different eras with rich history that is both surprising and unseen. A very old 19 Kms flanked by 202 towers, you will pass through the Agdal Gardens whose located at south of Marrakech, facing the snowy peaks of the Atlas.

The cooking classes are run by the dadas of La Maison Arabe, who have been sharing their culinary secrets with thousands of guests over the years. The school boasts 16 individual work stations, each equipped with a closed-circuit screen, so participants don’t miss a single key step or spice.

Departure to Casablanca

In Casablanca explore the “The White City”, driving through the wide avenues and walking the narrow streets of the Medina. Your first treat is a panoramic drive through the city of Casablanca to view the Royal Palace, the architecture of Place Mohamed V, Anfa, the residential area and explore the romantic beachfront with its world-famous shops, restaurants, and nightclubs. We will visit the famous Hassan II Mosque where you will visit the interior. Recently built, it is the largest in the world outside Mecca.

Visit of Morocco Mall which is the second largest shopping centre in Africa with 200 000m² of floor space in Casablanca, Morocco. Morocco Mall, which opened on December 1, 2011, was designed by Architect Davide Padoa of Design International, a global architecture boutique with its headquarters in London. The mall features a massive 1,000,000 litre aquarium that contains over 40 different species of fish. The aquarium is called “Aquadream” and was designed and built by International Concept Management (ICM). Visitors have the opportunity to take a ride through the centre of the cylinder shaped aquarium with a 360-degree view of the sea life. Visitors can also go scuba diving with a professional instructor inside the aquarium.
